On 5th September 1940 he came to No. 312 Czechoslovak Fighter Squadron and he became the leader of flight "B".

On 17th November he left squadron and more then next two months he served as transport pilot at Ferry Pilot Pool (FPP) at Kemble. Then he became test pilot at No. 8 Maintenance Unit at Little Rissington.

In August 1941 he was transfered to Czechoslovak Inspectorate General (CIG) and there he worked in the rank of S/Ldr and later W/Cdr as Staff Officer in Training Department till the end of the war. In February 1944 he was appointed tu the function of Liaison Officer at Training Command RAF.

After his return to CSR he served at Main Air Staff and sice September 1946 he was the Chief of No. 1 Department of Air Headquarters.

In February 1948 he was turned off from Czechoslovak Air Force.

He died on 15th March 1981 in Praha.
