He came to No. 310 Czechoslovak Fighter Squadron on 15th October 1940 from No. 6 O.T.U. at Sutton Bridge where he passed retraining on Hurricane.

In May 1941 he was tranfered for some months to No. 257 and then he returned to No. 310 Squadron.

He died on 24th September 1941 in crash during the flight from Dyce to Montrose. At 08.50 took off from Dyce formation of four planes piloted by F/Lt Kredba (leader), P/O Sniechowski (Polish pilot at No. 310 Squadron), Sgt Vindis and Sgt Dvorak. Shortly after took off planes flew through fog. F/Lt Kredba and Sgt Vindis landed together at Montrose and P/O Sniechowski landed there lately alone. Sgt Dvorak was missing.

Next day was his Hurricane II Z2766 founded on Leachie Hill, died pilot was lying a few metres beside. During flight in fog his plane struck into Leachie Hill at Kincardine.

He was burried on 29th September 1941 in Dyce.
