He came to No. 310 Czechoslovak
Fighter Squadron on 12th July 1940. Retraining on Hurricane
he absolved at No. 310 Squadron during July and first half of August.
During dogfight on 31st August was his Hurricane I P3268 damaged by enemy fire but he landed safetly on base in Duxford. On 28th February 1941 he became the leader of flight "B" of No. 310 Squadron. On 29th May 1941 he finished his operational service and since 17th October 1941 he served as air controller at Debden. On 15th May 1942 he became Liaison Office at Head Quartes Fighter Command and in 1943 he was transfered in the same function to No. 10 Fighter Group. Since 1st December 1943 he served as staff officer at Czechoslovak Inspectorate General (CIG) in London and on 15th August 1944 he moved to France where he became Czechoslovak Air Attache (CAA). After 1948 he emigrated to USA where he died on 12th April 1966. |
